Unemployed? Hate your boss? Looking for a change of pace? Look no further. Stray Dog Brewing Company is hiring! We are looking for an awesome, energetic person to work in our brewery, do some deliveries and represent us at events from time to time. Basically, you're a jack of all trades!

Ideally you have experience in the hospitality/retail industry, but as long as you have a passion for people and beer and a willingness to learn, we are here to help. You are a self-starter, a hard worker, and able to make every person feel like a friend or family member when they enter the brewery.

You are a direct representative of the culture we’ve created, and your personality and work ethic compliments what we’ve built. Without question, you see yourself as a self-motivated worker, with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

Every shift, you are providing amazing customer service and assisting customers in our brewery and at various events. It’s not always going to be pretty, but it sure beats the hell out of staring at a computer all day. You’ll be pouring beer in our taproom/patio, stocking shelves, inventory management, assisting production/packaging team from time to time, labeling, event management, handling cash and debit transactions. Basically, you are a Swiss Army knife of epic proportions!

You may not have the vastest experience in craft beer. That’s okay, we can teach that. But what you bring to the table is the experience to be able to make a person’s experience the best possible, and you are not happy until your customer is happy.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere by greeting and engaging all guests
Be able to educate customers on our products
Handle all transactions and complete end-of-day point of sale duties
Keep all customer areas clean and presentable: refill beer fridges, restock merchandise, clean taproom and bathrooms. Basically, you don’t need to wait for someone to tell you to do it – you just know it needs to be done.
Serve tasting flights and glasses
Work with our production team on our canning line.
You may be asked to do deliveries from time to time.

Key traits

Smart Serve certification is a must
Friendly, outgoing, and have a positive attitude
Focus on delivering outstanding customer
Retail or bartending experience is preferred
Driver’s license with clean driving record
