What is included with booking an event at Stray Dog?
We are happy to offer a variety of services, including:

• One hour of one-on-one consultation with our event manager,
• Access to the brewery one hour before your event starts,
• Bartending service,
• In-house A/V (including two microphones, sound, and stage lighting),
• Stage 6 x 8 which can be expanded to 6 x 10
• A tv screen and casting device,
• Access to the in-house speaker system for personalized playlists
• Fridge access,
• Custom floor plans and set up,
• Bar tables and chairs,
• Two 6-foot tables
• A patio and parking lot space (event type and time dependent), and
• A green room
• Promotion of your event in the brewery and on our social media channels

What types of beverages do you serve?
We have a variety of beers produced in-house which vary seasonally with a few standard beers that are always on tap, including our Northern Lite (Light Lager), Shaggin’ Wagon (NEIPA), and This One (California Common). We also have Farmgate cider and red and white wine. For our non-drinkers we have non-alcoholic beer and a variety of soft drinks and juice. 

Do you offer food?
We are proud to be a dog friendly brewery! This means that we can not produce food in house. However, you are welcome to bring in external catering or pre-prepared food. We welcome food trucks in our parking lot during off-hours (after 5pm on weekdays, and over the weekend).

Do you allow outside catering or bar services?
We allow outside catering for food only. Bar services are run solely through the brewery. If you have a special off menu request for a specific type of beverage, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate. 

Do you have a list of preferred vendors?
We can provide a list of recommendations for food vendors as well as musicians if you’d like live music as a part of your event

What A/V services do you have?
65 inch TV with Chromecast, PGM8 audio board with 2 x NX-55 speakers, microphones (wired) and stands, stage and tank professional lighting.

How big are your tables?
We have 8 small rectangle tables that are 2 feet x 3 feet, and 6 round tables about 2 feet in diameter. 

About our space
What is the capacity?
We can accommodate groups of up to 55 indoors, and more if there will be use of outdoor spaces (ie. the patio and/or the parking lot). 

Is the building accessible?
We are proud to offer an accessible venue, with accessible parking, washrooms, and an accessible entrance. 

Is there parking?
Yes, we can offer parking spots in our lot after business hours (after 5pm, and on weekends). There is also street parking on Lacolle Way. We always encourage dedicated drivers, or alternatively taking taxis, ubers, or transit.

Do you have A/C & heating?
Yes

Am I allowed to decorate?
Yes! We love to see the space animated with your decor. Candles are allowed as long as there are no open flames (they are enclosed in glass for example) and no wax dripping.  

How to book & payment process
How do ticketed event sales work?
Stray Dog will provide the space free of charge for ticketed events. Ticket sale proceeds will go towards the performer/organizer, and both Stray Dog and the event organizer will be responsible for driving ticket sales through social media and promotional activities. Stray Dog will retain proceeds from bar purchases. 

How much does it cost to rent the brewery for a private event?
Stray Dog uses a pricing matrix based on anticipated sales during the time of day of your event. Prices range between $200-$3,000, with weekdays before happy hour being on the lower end, and weekend and full day rentals being priced higher. Contact us with the specifics of your event for a quote. 

Is there a minimum spend?
No.

How do we finalize our private event booking?
The rental fee is required to confirm your booking on your requested time and date. Please note that events open to the public, and some ticketed events, do not require a rental fee. 

How do we provide payment for the rental fee?
Payment can be processed by card either over the phone or in person. We also accept e-transfers. Your private event will be confirmed upon receipt of the rental fee.

Do we need insurance for our event? 
No.

Are there additional fees?
Any alcohol purchased at the event is an additional cost, and there is an automatic gratuity (18%) added to the deposit for groups of 20 and over. Other optional additions are determined by you, and might include:

• Custom beer cans
• Off-menu alcohol options
• Additional on-site coordination in advance and/or on the day of your event
