This is a dark and dirty show, so if you are the easily offended type, maybe sit this one out, and focus on your breathing for the evening. Doors open at 7:00, show starts at 8:00. Amechi is a folk rock artist from Hull, Quebec, infusing a tapestry of world music influences into his performances. Playing acoustic guitar, singing, creating percussion loops live, it is all part of the plot. His passion for connecting with the audience on a deep level adds an enthralling element to his work. Music is life, and Amechi lives by it.

The Wooden Nickels are a cover band with a slant towards 90's alt rock (STP, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, etc), as well as their own takes on pop songs you know ranging from Jackson 5 to Paula Abdul to Jefferson Airplane to Stevie Wonder to JJ Wilde. Two members are Newfoundlanders, so expect some traditional sea shanties/drinking songs!
